Aide: Brazilian family giving up fight for US boy (AP)

Brazil's Supreme Court chief justice ruled Tuesday in favor of David Goldman, a U.S. citizen who has pursued a five-year court battle to gain custody of his son. Sean, Goldman's son, was taken to Brazil in 2004 by his then-wife Bruna Bianchi, who divorced Goldman and remarried before dying while giving birth to a daughter in 2008.
