Andy Biggs Accuses House Dems of Attempting to Obstruct Congressional Proceedings After Censure of Adam Schiff, ‘That is a Crime’

U.S. House Rep Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has accused House Democrats of attempting to obstruct Congressional proceedings after the censure of U.S. House Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Biggs said of the outburst from the Democrats, who appeared to ignore House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s gavel, “That is a crime.”

“Last night, Democrats in the House attempted to obstruct an official congressional proceeding after learning that we had officially censured Adam Schiff. That is a crime,” Biggs declared in a tweet.

Biggs appeared on the “Chris Salcedo Show” on Newsmax to discuss the censure and what occurred on the House floor.

The Newsmax chyron read, “Dems celebrate Schiff censure in shocking display.” Biggs also shared the federal code in a reply tweet to back up his assertions.

U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) shared a clip of what transpired yesterday in a quote tweet.

Twitter user Acyn said in the original tweet, “Wow Looks like McCarthy has lost control of the House Floor after the censure vote.”

Ocasio-Cortez justified the outburst by saying, “Because he’s a deeply unserious leader who diminishes the House by indulging in stunts like this.”

It appeared that the House Democrats were yelling “shame.”
