CONFIRMED: Former Fox News Host Tucker Carlson ‘Got What He Wanted’ in Russia, Vladimir Putin Interview Conducted

Ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson was seen in Moscow, fueling rumors that he’s there to conduct an interview with President Vladimir Putin.

According to Russia’s Mash outlet, Tucker Carlson has been in Moscow for the past few days. He was seen at the Bolshoi Theatre on Saturday.

This comes after Carlson has repeatedly claimed that his attempts to secure a significant interview with Putin were hindered by intervention from the U.S. government.

In 2021, the ex-Fox News host alleged that the National Security Agency (NSA) had intercepted his communications. He argued that this action was intended to sabotage his show’s popularity and silence his outspoken criticism of the Biden administration.

Tucker informed Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that a journalist contacted him, revealing that the NSA had leaked his emails to the media.

According to the whistleblower, the purpose of the leaks is to force the cancellation of Tucker Carlson’s immensely popular Fox News show.

“They’re not allowed to spy on American citizens, they are,” Tucker said adding that it’s “shocking” that he is being targeted for criticizing the Biden Administration.

“This is stuff of banana republics and third-world countries,” Bartiromo said.

NSA officials claimed that Tucker was not a “target” of an investigation but as we suspected, the NSA spied on Tucker by “incidentally collecting” his communications while ‘targeting’ someone else.

A recent NSA review confirms that Tucker Carlson was “unmasked,” although the agency maintains that they never specifically “targeted” him.

“For the NSA to unmask Tucker Carlson or any journalist attempting to secure a newsworthy interview is entirely unacceptable and raises serious questions about their activities as well as their original denial, which was wildly misleading,” a Fox News spokesperson told The Record.

Tuesday morning, Russian media personality Alexei Vendiktov tweeted on Twitter-X that Tucker had achieved his goal and interviewed Vladimir Putin.

As reported by Newsweek:

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Moscow, according to a report online.

Russian media outlets said Carlson visited the Russian capital, where he had been spotted at the Bolshoi Theater. Kremlin-friendly outlet Izvestia posted a video of its journalist asking Carlson what he was doing in Russia and if he would be interviewing Putin, to which he replied: “We’ll see.” The Mash Telegram channel said Carlson flew to Moscow via Istanbul on February 1.

Alexei Venediktov, the former editor-in-chief of the radio station Echo of Moscow, which was critical of the Kremlin before it closed during a clampdown on media freedoms, posted on X, formerly Twitter, that an interview between the pair had taken place.

“As far as I understand, Tucker Carlson got what he wanted,” posted Venediktov on Tuesday in Russian. The post was shared by The Financial Times’ Moscow bureau chief, Max Seddon, who wrote: “Russian journalistic gadfly Alexei Venediktov says Tucker Carlson has indeed interviewed Vladimir Putin while in Moscow.”
