Radical Activist Says Biden’s Clearly in Cognitive Decline, Has Committed ‘Crimes Against Humanity’

The Democratic establishment is terrified of a potential third party candidate who could throw the 2024 election to feared nemesis Donald Trump.

The potential Green Party presidential contender, Cornel West, a radical activist with a well-known track record, is now slamming Biden’s record on race relations, weaponization of the Justice department, and fitness for the office of President of the United States.

West strongly criticized President Biden’s track record on racial issues, labeling it as nothing less than a “crime against humanity” in an exclusive interview with The Post.

West, aged 70, accused Biden of contributing to the problem of mass incarceration among minority communities due to his sponsorship of the federal Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994, a bill that advocated for tough-on-crime policies. The legislation authorized the recruitment of 100,000 additional police officers and allocated $9.7 billion for the construction of prisons.

“I’ve taught in prison for 41 years. And the the level of barbarity in our prisons has something to do with that crime bill that he put forward,” said West, now a professor at Union Theological Seminary, a Columbia University affiliate.

“Black folks are low priority” to Biden, West continued, adding the president was much better at window dressing — “black faces in high places” — than substantive change. West gave Biden’s performance on race a dismal grade of “C-.”

He also said the 80-year-old Biden is “slowing down.”

“It’s very clear that his cognitive powers are in decline,” West said.

Despite his left-wing views, West agreed with Biden critics’ concern over the politicization and insufficient oversight of federal intelligence agencies. The Republican Party has consistently raised concerns about the perceived weaponization of these agencies.

“I would just increase the scope of accountability and transparency. I think that’s enough right there,” West said. “The whole institution, alright, to make sure it is not politicized, make sure it’s not weaponized and make sure that it actually lets us know what they are doing, especially the executive branch.”

West also found it perplexing that The Secret Service was unable to determine how a small amount of cocaine ended up in the White House, particularly considering that Hunter Biden, a former drug addict, has been residing there.

He characterized Hunter Biden’s agreement with the Department of Justice to plead guilty to tax evasion as a lenient punishment, describing it as merely “a little tap on the wrist.”

West, who famously decried Harvard University’s “spiritual rot” in his 2021 resignation from the Harvard Divinity School, is well-respected as a critical and gadfly in left-wing intellectual circles. He slammed Harvard for its “superficial diversity” and complained that the elitist institution was operating in “the shadow of Jim Crow.”

While Robert Kennedy Jr.’s primary challenge to President Biden has garnered attention in media and political circles, political experts closely observing the 2024 race believe that West poses a significantly more significant and dangerous threat.

Initially intending to run with the People’s Party, West’s switch to the Green Party could potentially divert crucial votes away from Biden in swing states. This has raised concerns among some Democrats who fear that West’s candidacy may ultimately benefit GOP frontrunner Donald Trump and potentially influence the election outcome.

“In 2016, the Green Party played an outsized role in tipping the election to Donald Trump. Now, with Cornel West as their likely nominee, they could easily do it again. Risky business,” former Obama campaign guru David Axelrod tweeted earlier this week.

West supported Biden over Trump in 2020, but now claimed both are equally dangerous.

“Trump is leading us toward a second civil war, Biden is leading us toward a third world war. So I am not excited about either choice,” West said. “I don’t want to just support a caretaker government against fascism every four years because sooner or later the fascists will still win.”

“But the problem with the Democrats is that they’d rather lose than change.”

It remains to be seen if West will actually run for the presidency on the Green Party ticket, given the Democratic Party apparatus will undoubtedly mobilize to crush his candidacy before it starts. The DNC infamously snuffed out radical senator Bernie Sanders’ 2016 run by rigging the primaries in favor of Hillary Clinton.

He’s a bit too much of a racist for me. Had enough of that racist divide with Obama. Looking to subtract problems, not add to them.
