WHO Chief Says COVID Was First ‘Disease X’ and It May Happen Again

The World Health Organization’s director Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is priming the public for a global pandemic featuring a mysterious ‘Disease X.’

While at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Dr. Ghebreyesus drew a parallel between Covid-19 and ‘Disease X.’

“So this is X as a placeholder for unknown disease,” he said. “I just wanted to start by clarifying that because there is already a lot of attention. If I may.”

“Although Covid came immediately, we were preparing for Covid-like disease,” he added. “You may even call Covid as the first disease X, and it may happen again.”

On Wednesday, the WHO conducted a conference with health experts on how to prepare for the next pandemic, which they argue will be deadlier than COVID-19.

The event description for a 50-minute presentation goes as follows: “‘Disease X’ could result in 20 times more fatalities than the coronavirus pandemic, what novel efforts are needed to prepare healthcare systems for the multiple challenges ahead?”

“This session is linked to the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience and the Collaborative Surveillance Initiative of the World Economic Forum,” the video description noted.

The speakers were Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Shyam Bishen, Roy Jakobs, Preetha Reddy, Nisia Trindade Lima, Nancy Brown, and Michel Demaré.

The goal of the session was to discuss “Preparing for Disease X” to address the global response for a future pandemic which could be 20 times as deadly as Covid-19.

Dr. Ghebreyesus at the WEF laid out the “novel efforts needed to prepare healthcare systems for the multiple challenges ahead.”

Klaus Schwab, the founded of the World Economic Forum, published a book called “The Great Reset” in 2020 about exploiting the Covid-19 response to socially reengineer human beings to prepare for a new global order.

COVID-19: The Great Reset is a guide for anyone who wants to understand how COVID-19 disrupted our social and economic systems, and what changes will be needed to create a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable world going forward,” the book description reads.

“Klaus Schwab, founder and executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, and Thierry Malleret, founder of the Monthly Barometer, explore what the root causes of these crisis were, and why they lead to a need for a Great Reset,” the book description adds. “Theirs is a worrying, yet hopeful analysis. COVID-19 has created a great disruptive reset of our global social, economic, and political systems. But the power of human beings lies in being foresighted and having the ingenuity, at least to a certain extent, to take their destiny into their hands and to plan for a better future.”

In recent news, Chinese scientists have been experimenting with a mutant coronavirus strain that is completely fatal in ‘humanized’ mice, despite worries that such research may ignite another pandemic.

Scientists in Beijing, who are associated with the Chinese military, cloned a Covid-like virus found in pangolins called GX_P2V and utilized it to infect mice, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.

The mice had been ‘humanized’, which means they were modified to express a protein present in humans, with the purpose of determining how the virus might behave in humans.

Every mouse inoculated with the infection died within eight days, which the researchers characterized as ‘surprisingly’ fast.

The researchers were also shocked to discover large amounts of viral load in the mice’s brains and eyes, indicating that the virus, although linked to Covid, multiplies and distributes across the body in a distinct manner.

They cautioned in an unpublished scientific publication that the discovery “underscores a spillover danger of GX_P2V into humans.”

Professor Francois Balloux, an infectious disease specialist from University College London, posted on Twitter (X): “It’s a terrible study, scientifically totally pointless.”

“I can see nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force-infecting a weird breed of humanized mice with a random virus. Conversely, I could see how such stuff might go wrong…” he remarked.

Professor Richard Ebright, a chemist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, told DailyMail.com that he completely agrees with Professor Balloux’s judgment.

“The preprint does not specify the biosafety level and biosafety precautions used for the research,” he commented.

“The absence of this information raises the concerning possibility that part or all of this research, like the research in Wuhan in 2016-2019 that likely caused the Covid-19 pandemic, recklessly was performed without the minimal biosafety containment and practices essential for research with a potential pandemic pathogens,” he added.

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson put it succinctly: “Yeah, maybe we should stop creating manmade viruses in Chinese labs.”
